Marilyn Monroe was born as Norma Jeane Baker, at June 1, 1926. Her mother was Gladys Pearl Mortenson (maidenname: Monroe). But she was divorced when Norma Jeane was born. Her father is unknown, Marilyn herself tought it was Stanley C. Gifford, a man how worked with her mother at her work. Norma Jeane was born in the Los Angeles General Hospital, and after 2 weeks, her mother give her to a fosterfamily, the Bolender's.

Foster family's, and the orphanage, her moviecontract, and her death!

Norma Jeane stayed at plenty of foster family's. And she even stayed at a orphan home, she couldn't go back to her mother, because she was mentally ill. Norma Jeane was unhappy, and cried much. But in 1942, at the age of 16 she married, 21 year old, James Dougherty. But in 1944, he had to go the South Pasific. Norma Jeane was full of unhappiness. And, because she couldn't got money, she began to work at a plaine factory. In 1945 she was discovered as a model, and she had several affairs with some photographers. In 1946, she got her first moviecontract. She dyed her hair, and changed her name into Marilyn Monroe. She got several very small roles, and in 1949 Marilyn had no money, and was very poor. Because she had no money, she posed nude, in front of the camera of Tom Kelley. She got only . In 1952 Marilyn played her first big movie role, as a crazy babysitter in the movie 'Don't Bother To Knock'. In 1953 she played a big role in a musical, with Jane Russell in 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'. In 1953 she met Joe DiMaggio, a great sporthero. They married in 1954, Marilyn entertained the troops of Korea in 1954, when she had her honeymoon with Joe. But the pair divorced after 9 months. It was, because she stood on an subwaygait, and cool wind pushed her dress upp. But they remainded friends. In the begin of 1956, Marilyn met old friend Arthur Miller, and they we're in love. They married in late 1956. Marilyn had several misscariages, and it took it's tol in 1958, during the filming of 'Some Like It Hot'. Marilyn was depressive, and she forgot her lines, even 3 words. In 1960, the Miller's divorced, Marilyn did an suicide attempt, the 4'time in her life. She survived it, and she bought a house, a small but cosy house. She died on the 5th of august 1962, of an overdose of sleeping pills. But I don't think she comitted suicide.

Marilyn remainded a great star, and she was the last 'real' moviestar from the 50's. 'New' Marilyn's came foreward, like Jayne Mansfield and Joi Lansing, but no one could even reached the succes that Marilyn had.
